Comprised of sisters Devynn Hart, Danica Hart, and their cousin Trea Swindle, Chapel Hart first performed back in 2014. Although the country music group started on the streets of New Orleans, they eventually traveled to Nashville, hoping to break into country music.
It is a force that brings people together, fostering understanding, empathy, and shared experiences. In its essence, music taps into our deepest emotions and speaks to the core of our being. It has the ability to transcend language barriers, communicating emotions and thoughts that words alone cannot express.
After the show, Chapel Hart toured nonstop and released a new album. After taking a break in December, the trio is back on the road and will even be performing in England and Scotland in March.
Every single person knew who Chapel Hart was. Exciting news for us, but also sad news, because for us that means everyone knows who we are, and we still don't have a record deal, we still don't have a publishing deal, we still don't have sponsorships, and we're still out here busting our tails.
They're still an independent group. So far, no record deal, but they're continuing to do what's worked for them in the past. Instead of targeting the country music industry as a whole, they're focusing on the people who listen to and love the music.
The group found success with performing original music throughout their run on “AGT,” ultimately making it to the finals. But due to a combination of nerves and emotions, the Chapel Hart singers fell flat in their performance of the original song “American Pride” and came short of winning Season 17.
Chapel Hart made 160 domestic performance dates and global festival appearances in 2023. The year also saw them release an album and earn praise from Country Music Hall of Famers Dolly Parton, Marty Stuart and Tanya Tucker.
