This is Anambrarian-Igbo which I spent 250,000 Naira to learn in Terra-Kulture in Lagos state, when you are done reading this you would see why Anambrarian-Igbo is something only Anambrarians themselves can communicate as it is not a language but something else (not anything special, but the language, just like English language, does not follow it's own rules sometimes and fundamentally it is very problematic just like the English language also) Read for yourself and make out of it that which you can. In the end no one can really translate the language (BUT I WOULD TRY) you have to be in close proximity to the speaker to understand what they are saying.

It is the easiest to literally understand among the 8 variations of the Igbo language
Asides from the core 5 eastern states, we also have the Deltan Igbo, Central Igbo and Rivers Igbo Language and each have their own variation of the Igbo Language) As I said earlier, Whilst Anambrarian Igbo is the easiest to learn on a literal base, paradoxically it is by far the hardest to digest or relay to non-indigenes as it uses a lot of 'Article' 'Metaphor' 'Context' 'Tone Pitch' 'Response Timing' thus a phrase can have innumerable meanings depending solely on the aforementioned as opposed to just "Context" as is customary in other Languages but I would try to explain and give commentary to non-Igbo viewers or Igbos who do not understand the aforementioned, most importantly 'Article' and its application.

EXPLANATION AND INTERPRETATION

INTERPRETATION For The Man Holding A weapon and a white Handkerchief:
"Your death/blood would not be put upon us"

Background INTERPRETATION With A Male Voice: "Whatsoever A Man Sows He Shall reap"

INTERPRETATION For Alleged Thief About To Be Killed: .........."As For Me, This Death that awaits me right now is not because of anything I did" "God Almighty Knows I did not come here to steal" (Igbo scholars can also argue the interpretation to be "God Knows I Did Not Come To Earth To Be A Thief) Me personally I interpret it to be "I did not wake up today with robbery in my mind" This can mean he indeed may have stolen in the past but his rationale can be "I stole nothing today"

At 0:18 is an example of the "Article" difficulty I described in the beginning, At 0:18 He continues by saying "MANA ONWELO" this expressly and literally means "But nothing" (Putting Article into perspective what he is actually saying is "No Shaking" "All Die na Die" "Nothing dey there" "I remain unfazed/Unafraid" or "But What Can I do" "I am over-powered"

At 0:19 He continues with: "This is the suffering in life a man faces or "This is the plight of a man in this world" or "This is the bitter and harsh realities of a man in his journey of life"

At 0:21 "He makes a fascinating and indicting remark that verifies my thought process about him being a thief but surely did not steal anything on the day he was caught by saying something only Igbo scholars can notice, the alleged thief says "Oro m" this Literally means "Is this not me?" (Put Article into perspective and "Oro m" means "Strong man like me, overpowered, disgraced, No be me be dis?) and his next comment which is At 0:23 also happens to be the most remarkable example of the "Article" difficulty I speak about, He says "Umu Boys" (Umu Boys literally means "Young Boys" )

But when "Article" is put into perspective what he is really saying is "You Strong Men" "You Big boys" or "You Happening Boys in town" (Igbo scholars can argue that in this extrapolation, what he is saying is "You Young nefarious Boys engaging in crime, thinking your "Odeshi Charms" (A Charm found in all parts of the country but has its most potent one made in Anambra, used by armed robbers that causes a bullet or matchet/sword/Dagger or anything not to penetrate their skin, used popularly by the Bakassi Boys of Anambra in the 90's and early 2000s) would always save you, Do you see how life goes?

INTERPRETATION of woman's voice in the background: "Come on! Let them have mercy on these boys"

Do you now see why Anambrarian Igbo is regarded as the most challenging language to internalize in Nigeria due to "Article" and its open-ended interpretative nature?

Feel free to ask me anything.
